NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top 25 Poll

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Three Mid-South teams are ranked in the NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Monday.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is the highest-rated team in the poll at No. 3. The Blue Raiders garnered 408 points in the poll and are 7-0 this season and 5-0 in the MSC. Lindsey Wilson hosts No. 6 Bethel (Tenn.) on Saturday.

Bethel remained at No. 6. The Wildcats earned 362 points in the poll and are 8-0 and 5-0 in conference play. Bethel is 2-0 this season against teams in the top 25. The Wildcats travel to Lindsey Wilson on Saturday.

Georgetown (Ky.) moved down seven spots to No. 18. The Tigers earned 158 points in the poll and are 5-2 and 3-2 in the MSC. Georgetown hosts Thomas More (Ky.) on Saturday.

Morningside (Iowa) sits atop the poll with 444 points and all 19 first-place votes. Grand View (Iowa) is second with 427 points. Northwestern (Iowa) and Indiana Wesleyan round out the top five with 394 and 371 points, respectively.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences. Each conference is given one rater for every four schools in the league.

The next poll is scheduled to come out on Monday, October 31.
